High Country Contracting

Time to put up your Christmas Tree?

If you're in South Canterbury why not grab one of the Wilding Pines being cut down by the team at High Country Contracting.  These trees are from the shores of Lake Pukaki and are now destined for living rooms around the region this year.

As one of New Zealand's most invasive weeds, wilding pines threaten to permanently alter our unique landscapes throughout New Zealand's high country.

High Country Contracting has been working with a number of organisations over the years to help eradicate this pest, especially within the regions of Twizel and the Mackenzie Country, and have developed a great initiative so that you can also play your part this Christmas.

You can purchase ($25 a tree), or donate to a family in need, a wilding pine with all proceeds from the sale given to the I Am Hope Charitable Trust to support their in-school, community, and workplace mental health programmes.
