Established in 1994, SWAZI® proudly calls Levin, New Zealand, home. Since our inception, our Levin factory has been the beating heart of our operations, specializing in crafting high-performance, technical gear. Renowned worldwide for its exceptional quality and durability, SWAZI® apparel is meticulously crafted by a team of passionate individuals who are not just colleagues but neighbours—some even walking to work each day from nearby residences.

 

Now, what’s all the fuss about, you may wonder? Well, let me tell you—it’s about community, folks. At SWAZI®, we firmly believe in giving back to the community we call home. Providing employment opportunities for our fellow Levin residents isn’t just a business strategy; it’s a commitment to fostering pride and prosperity within our town. Witnessing our team members take pride in their work and seeing that sense of accomplishment ripple through their families and whanau—it’s truly heartening.

 

In 2019, faced with skyrocketing demand, we made the tough decision to outsource some of our fleece production to our trusted partner company in Thailand. But rest assured, this wasn’t a step taken lightly. We invested over a year in meticulous research and collaboration to ensure that our stringent quality standards were upheld—from garment excellence to ethical working conditions.

 

Following the success of this transition, we’ve extended our offshore manufacturing to encompass all fleece and technical garments. However, our commitment to Levin remains unwavering. We’ve retained our skilled machinists to handle specialized, smaller production runs, catering to organizations such as search and rescue teams, ambulance services, and law enforcement agencies.

 

At SWAZI®, our promise is simple yet profound: to continue innovating and producing practical Hunting, and Outdoor clothing. But it doesn’t stop there.
