Product Specifications

The Tahr is designed to be waterproof, windproof, and breathable, ensuring you stay dry without sweating excessively. Its long scalloped tail efficiently directs water away from your legs, keeping your thighs and butt dry whether you're walking or sitting and glassing for game. The garment features an extra-long YKK water-resistant chest zip, allowing for easy on-and-off and effective temperature control. The storm flap enclosure prevents water and wind from sneaking through the zips, while the waistline can be cinched to block wind and rain from all directions. Additionally, the Tahr includes hand-warmer chest pockets with water-resistant zips for convenient storage. For easy transport, the Tahr can be rolled into its own hood, making it compact and portable.

Brilliant jacket, I still hunt in my one and bought it when they were first realised, very well made , durable, has out lasted my other hunting gear .

So good I bought a second one.

Had my first Tahr Anorak for about 15 years, currently getting a re-seal and re-waterproof from Swazi but treated myself to a new one anyway. Fantastic jackets that stay waterproof with a machine wash and tumble dry. My Swazi hunting gear has outlasted every other brand I've tried, worth every dollar.

Time to replace my Anorak

After 12 years of Fiordland abuse my Tahr anorak started to leak as seams wore bear inside .

I'm sure due to carrying many deer many kms on my back wearing at seam sealing .

From the outside it still looks new.

Good excuse for an upgrade and Aegeis #3 fabric.

Sad no longer made in NZ as I am a patriotic supporter of NZ made products and was nice touch to see the label inside ( made by Dianne or whomever)

However the quality just gets better every year .

Do you have Swazi retail stores?

What is the Swazi Warranty?

All Swazi garments are unconditionally warranted against faulty fabric and workmanship. We reserve the right to repair or replace at our discretion. We have a specific page for more details on our warranty and repairs and returns policies here.

Will I have to pay customs on an international order?

International customers are solely responsible for payment of all duties, import taxes and customs fees.

These fees are not included in the cost of shipping and we are unable to provide estimates of what this will cost as it will depend entirely on the garment and what charges your own government imposes.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We process orders very quickly, which means in most cases, we can't make changes after an order has been placed. We definitely cannot make changes after we have sent a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link.

In saying that, if you have already placed an order and would like to cancel or change it, please email us service@swazi.co.nz or call 64 6 368 4822 within 2 hours of placing your order. We will do the best we can.
