When you're moving hard, the last thing you need is a hat that traps heat and won't let go. The Merino Skalcap doesn't have that problem. A Nuyarn® Merino skull cap in 145gsm — thin enough to wear under a hood, a helmet or a head torch without adding bulk, warm enough to make a meaningful difference when the cold bites. Nuyarn® technology delivers 35% more thermal retention than standard Merino, 53% more wind resistance and dries significantly faster when you're sweating hard on the hill.
The result is a skull cap that regulates your head temperature across a wide range of conditions — warm when you're standing still, breathable when you're not. 78% Merino, 22% nylon. Soft against the skin, odour resistant and built to hold its shape. Available in iron sand and olive, sizes M and L. The head layer you forget about until it's not there.

What is the Swazi Warranty?
All Swazi garments are unconditionally warranted against faulty fabric and workmanship. We reserve the right to repair or replace at our discretion. We have a specific page for more details on our warranty and repairs and returns policies here.
Will I have to pay customs on an international order?
International customers are solely responsible for payment of all duties, import taxes and customs fees.
These fees are not included in the cost of shipping and we are unable to provide estimates of what this will cost as it will depend entirely on the garment and what charges your own government imposes.
Please check with your local customs agent for more details.
Can I change or cancel my order?
We process orders very quickly, which means in most cases, we can't make changes after an order has been placed. We definitely cannot make changes after we have sent a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link.
In saying that, if you have already placed an order and would like to cancel or change it, please email us service@swazi.co.nz or call 64 6 368 4822 within 2 hours of placing your order. We will do the best we can.
How do I know what size I need?
