We worked for three years testing these weather-resistant outdoor trousers on four continents to get them right. Hard yards, but someone had to do them because most hunting trousers simply aren’t “fit for purpose” – pun intended.

For example, have you ever hunted with a mate who’s swishing along in baggy trou – blissfully unaware they sound like an 80’s icon in a shell suit? Then you get it. Less noise equals warm barrels.

That’s why we’ve cut the Forest Pants a bit slimmer. So, we also suggest you go one size up from your normal jeans size.

What else? Plenty of pockets, thigh vents for when you need to dump heat, articulated knees, removable knee pads, sturdy dry bum backside (much of hunting is sitting) and weather-resistant fabric. You may well have found your new favourite hunting, hiking and hanging out pants.

Great pants, comfortable.

Purchased waist 38 (usually 36), sized one size up as advised on Swazi site - fitted comfortably except need a belt as slightly larger around the waist.

Really the best pants I've owned

Excellent quality nice to wear I'm usually a large but ordered xl which is a good fit just need a belt, no worries, I want another pair but no black ones, bugger.

Stoked with them

I bought them for tahr hunting as I have a pair of pants already of a different brand made from the same material and love them. But the price tag of the forest pants is considerably cheaper. But of the same quality if not better. Haven’t been tahr hunting yet but using them roar hunting and there brilliant. Love the stretch and I don’t think you can rip them. If anyone will give them a work out it’ll be me. Rough as guts

Do you have Swazi retail stores?

What is the Swazi Warranty?

All Swazi garments are unconditionally warranted against faulty fabric and workmanship. We reserve the right to repair or replace at our discretion. We have a specific page for more details on our warranty and repairs and returns policies here.

Will I have to pay customs on an international order?

International customers are solely responsible for payment of all duties, import taxes and customs fees.

These fees are not included in the cost of shipping and we are unable to provide estimates of what this will cost as it will depend entirely on the garment and what charges your own government imposes.

Please check with your local customs agent for more details.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We process orders very quickly, which means in most cases, we can't make changes after an order has been placed. We definitely cannot make changes after we have sent a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link.

In saying that, if you have already placed an order and would like to cancel or change it, please email us service@swazi.co.nz or call 64 6 368 4822 within 2 hours of placing your order. We will do the best we can.
