The mother of all hunting jackets!
This jacket does it all, keeps you warm and dry in the toughest weather conditions, and the velvet hand warmer pockets are a real bonus.
I’ve worn this jacket in the worst weather conditions the highlands of Ireland and Scotland can throw at you, and it never leaves me down. There is bucket loads of space for all your hunting bits and bobs in the large pockets.
The only minor change I would make is to the hood system which can difficult to close fully when wearing gloves.
A must buy for bad weather hunters!

Refined Swazi classic
I've still got my Wapiti coat from over 10 years ago and I can't kill it (I only lost one pocket button). This is the definition of buy once, cry once! I've taken my coat shammy /tahr hunting in NZ and all everything in Australia from deer hunting to bird shooting.
Silent, waterproof, and a little bit posh in olive colour with a bendable hood.

WAPITI XP
I measured up as a 3XL on the guide. I checked with the company and they said many people order it a size under, as there is plenty of room. As I am well nourished and fat, I stuck with the 3XL. This worked out fine for me, I still have room for clothing under the jacket... which keeps me dry and comfortable in extremely rotten 2 degree C storms or heavy horizontal rain and strong gusty winds. So yes it works well. Consider a size under your guide recommendation if you are normal or slim body build, and go with the recommendation if you are larger in stature. I recommend this jacket, I am very happy with it.

Wapiti XP
For a slim or average person, I was advised that it runs large and consider getting a size under your measurement. But I am over-nourished with a fat guts. The 3XL (as the guide recommended) still gives me enough room for a layer or two, but is not too big. So if you are a 'large' person like me, just stick with the guide. If you are normal or slim maybe look one size down. I haven't had the opportunity to go out in snow yet, but in really crappy cold weather (2 degrees C) storms with plenty of horizontal rain and strong winds, it performed very well and kept me dry and comfortable. I recommend this jacket.
